Yes, all dogs in Brampton must be licensed annually at a cost of $20 or a lifetime licence for microchipped dogs at a cost of $39. Cats are also required to be registered at a lifetime cost of $10. The Animal Shelter is located at 1945 Williams Pkwy. For more information call (9O5) 458-5200.

The City does recognize Brampton residents celebrating 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries, special birthdays and other significant events with a certificate from the Mayor's Office.
